Box packing and veg growing assistant role.

Seasonal: For the spring/summer period

An opportunity to work as part of a small, organic, family-run farm.

The farm is in its second year of transition to a modern alley-cropping system, using three types of agroforestry, which will soon enable more livestock to be rotated through the cover crops as part of the farm's circular nutrient cycling system. This role is a great opportunity to work alongside Joshua and John and grab a load of knowledge and know-how along the way.

We are a friendly team adaptable to individual needs as and when they arise.

1 day per week (Tuesdays) with possibility for more.

Paid at the National Living Wage.

Role:

• To assemble veg boxes with care and attention to detail and quality.
• To assist with farm tasks in the field and in the tunnels.
• A physical role with some lifting, walking and other manual tasks.
• Requires flexibility in hours worked.

Ideal candidates:

• Will have an enthusiasm for organics and/or agroecology.
• Willing to get to know our systems and problem-solve.
• Will enjoy working as part of a team.
